Data we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, optional engagement interest, period notes, and message content. During an engagement we may process business contact details and documents you provide that contain personal data incidental to bank reconciliations (for example, payee names on cheques).

Purposes and legal bases

We process inquiry data to respond to your request and to prepare estimates. We process engagement data to perform the contracted reconciliation work, keep engagement records, and meet accounting and legal obligations under Taiwan law.

Retention

Contact form messages are retained up to 24 months unless they lead to an engagement. Engagement files are retained for at least 7 years, or longer when required by applicable law or ongoing dispute.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with professional advisers, secure hosting providers, or authorities when required by law. Bank documents remain confidential and are shared only as needed to perform the engagement or as you instruct.

International transfers

Our primary operations are in Taiwan. If a tool or hosting provider stores data outside Taiwan, we take reasonable contractual and organisational steps to protect the data in line with Taiwan personal data protection requirements.

Your rights

Subject to Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Contact hello@software-framework.digital to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwanese authority.
